Figure skating - NHK Trophy 2015
A few hours from beginning of the NHK Trophy, the sixth stage of the Grand Prix of Figure Skating, & egrave; pi & ugrave; that never should deepen the discussion on the "base value" of short programs of each participant in the competition.

The base value (or TES BASE) & egrave; purely hypothetical and is based on the elements that each athlete intends to present in the program. It is calculated by considering every element executed with the highest level available (level four). In addition, it keeps in mind the 'original intention of the athletes placing items in a half & agrave; or nell''altra program, net of problems with time. Of course, for most or all of the basic value descend & agrave ;.
After five stages, the Russian Evgenia Medvedeva (twice), Japan's Rika Hongo, the Canadian Alaine Chartrand, Russian Elena Radionova, Boyang Jin Chinese, the Russians and Pitkeev Adian Sergei Voronov and the American Ross Miner are the only ones with performed each item in accordance with the basic value planned. No pair of art has, however, reached the & rsquo; goal.

PAIRS OF ART (order of descent on the ice)
The base value pi & ugrave; high & egrave; one of Canadians Duhamel / Radford. In light of the current Regulation, in the absence of triple axels in parallel or fired, not & egrave ;, however, possible from a figure pi & ugrave; high of 35.50 of the defending World Champions. The advantage derives from the fact of presenting the triple lutz in parallel. The remaining pairs will perform triple toe loop, triple salchow and double axel. In terms of throw jumps, five pairs eseguirano triple lutz and flip (value 5.5), two pairs triple Rittberger (value 5.0) and a pair triple salchow (value 4.5)

SECTOR MALE (order of descent on the ice)
For the first time in the history of the discipline, all the athletes will present a short program with a base value of 43 points higher than planned. So, unless a last minute route changes, all athletes will race with the 'intention to implement at least a quadruple jump. In particular, the Chinese Boyang Jin prover & agrave; to perform, as was done at Cup of China, the program with the most basic value & ugrave; time high. Four skaters plan two quadruple jumps, but Boyang Jin should be l & rsquo; unique in placing a quadruple in the second part of the program. Japanese Yuzuru Hanyu and Russian Konstantin Menshov will, instead, the only place the triple axel in the second half & agrave; of music. Compared to the competition, the Russian Maxim Kovtun sar & agrave; penalized by presenting the so-called "flying upright" as top skipped.
