The first stage of the Junior Grand Prix figure skating was held in Riga, Latvia. For the opening words of the season, the ice of "Volvo Arena" was the scene of competitions in all four specialties.

The blues, Zanica school, Sara Ghislandi / Jonah Third Ortenzi (99.90) finished the race debut in the Grand Prix in seventh place.
Between the pairs of artistic success for the Chinese Yu / Jin (160.75), in the past vice-world champions juniors.
