Vigalova / Zakroev stravincono in Zagreb winning the final Jr.Grand Prix

The pair of Russian art composed by Maria Vigalova and Egor Zakroev won by a wide margin the seventh and final stage of qualifying for the Junior Grand Prix circuit, hosted by the & ldquo; Dom Sportova & rdquo; Zagreb.

After easily imposed in the short program, the students of Valentina Tiukova also dominated the segment pi & ugrave; long race missing for a few cents a personal record. The performance today & egrave; was stained only by an error on Vigalova & rsquo; landing of the double axel, opening jump of a combination with a double toe loop correctly not considered valid. For the rest, l & rsquo; execution of scheduled items & egrave; was flawless, with notes of merit for throw jumps, lifts and triple twist. The couple stationed in Perm cos & igrave; conquered l & rsquo; access to the final with a full score by storing the third successful career in the circuit. Vigalova / Zakroev (167,98) led fellow countrymen Daria Beklemisheva / Maxim Bobrov (143.62), increased by seventeen points compared to the result obtained in step a few days ago in Dresden. The young students of Artur Dmtriev have proven to be the pair to beat in parallel on the jumps in the free program before completing one & rsquo; striking combination triple toe loop / double toe loop / double Rittberger and to follow a triple salchow. The main problems are, however, arrived with the throw jumps because the triple flip & egrave; been landed on two feet and three times you Rittberger & egrave; ended with a crash. The final podium & egrave; been completed by the Ukrainians Renata Oganseian / Mark Bardei (135.57), able to climb from seventh position occupied at the end of the short program, although they have left on the plate all the points of the top pair. The winners of the recent Lombardy Trophy have been distinguished by the quality & agrave; triple twist and convincing execution of the lifts. Some heartache in pi & ugrave ;, instead, on the jumps in parallel with errors evenly divided. Oganseian has, in fact, landed the triple salchow with a step-out, cos & igrave; as was done for Bardei at the double axel, which was supposed to open at least one sequence with a single axel. In fourth place, the Americans were placed Chelsea Liu / Brian Johnson (134.97), lucky to trim down for just seventeen hundredths of a point, the return of Russian Maria Chuzanova / Denis Mintsev (134.80). The couple stars and stripes, coached by Todd Sand, opted in the free program for a conservative strategy by presenting throw jumps deliberately double with the & rsquo; goal to run a test without glaring errors in such a way as to take advantage on the evaluation of program components. However, a fall of Liu on the double axel in parallel, that would open a combination with a double toe loop, risked upsetting all floors. Extremely weak on the elements of jumping, Liu / Johnson have distinguished themselves in positive on the triple twist, and lifting in general at all the elements of torque. Moreover, pending the outcome of Karen Chen in the women's competition, the United States can finally celebrate l & rsquo; entrance of the first athletes in the final in Barcelona. Satisfaction in Italy, for the provision of Bianca Manacorda / Niccol & ograve; Macii (120,36), authors of a good free program that has enabled them to obtain l & rsquo; eighth place finish. The students of Barbara Luoni have minimized the burrs convincingly completing the triple flip jump launched and planned in parallel (double flip combination and double flip / double toe loop), in addition to the various elements of the couple, who are the main strength . L & rsquo; remarkable only deburring & egrave; took place at the triple toe loop launched landed with the & rsquo; support for a small moment of one hand on the ice. At the end of the qualifying stage, they won the & rsquo; access to the final the following pairs: Q & ndash; 30 & ndash; 333.50 & ndash; (CAN) SEGUIN / BILODEAUQ. & Ndash; 30 & ndash; 329.81 & ndash; (RUS) VIGALOVA / ZAKROEV Q & ndash; 26 & ndash; 306.74 & ndash; (RUS) Fedorova / MIROSHKIN Q & ndash; 24 & ndash; 271.74 & ndash; (RUS) GAINETDINOVA / BICHQ. & Ndash; 22 & ndash; 269.92 & ndash; (RUS) BELHEMISHEVA / BOBROVQ. & Ndash; 20 & ndash; 266.12 & ndash; (USA) LIU / JOHSNON The reserves will be: 20 (09 | 11) & ndash; 258.78 & ndash; (RUS) Gubanova / SINITSOV 18 (07 | 11) & ndash; 259.12 & ndash; (UKR) OGANSEIAN / BARDEI 14 (09 | 05) & ndash; 258.38 & ndash; (JPN) KOGA / Boudreau-AUDET For the first time since back in 2006 there will be no Chinese couples in the final, thanks to the choice of the federation to boycott the circuit.
