By the end of May each national federation must communicate ISU (International Skating Union) the names of the skaters available to take part in the twentieth edition of the Grand Prix of Figure Skating.

The countries that will host one of the six stages of qualification will also have to disclose whether each specialty event of house will devote three places for local athletes.
The open circuit its doors on October 24 and will conclude with Skate America between 11 and December 14 with the final act in the program for the first time in the history of Barcelona.
