In Riga, from 26 to 29 August, the pass for the Beijing 2022 Games is up for grabs: a week of work in the Bolzano area, all those called up. Coach Greg Ireland confirmed.

You get to the heart. The meeting of the Italian National Ice Hockey Team started last weekend, which begins the most important phase of preparation for the Olympic Qualification Tournament, scheduled in Riga, Latvia, from 26 to 29 August, with one week full of work in Egna.
Until August 15, in the town in the province of Bolzano, an intense phase of training before the transfer to Vienna on August 21-22, and finally the departure for Latvia on the 23rd of the month. Twenty-eight athletes called for the rally in South Tyrol, at the end of which the names of who will take part in the Riga tournament will be communicated. This is the list of players - four goalkeepers, ten defenders and fourteen forwards - and of the staff which also includes Bradley Shaw, Canadian born in '64, in the past a Varese player and now an assistant coach in the NHL.
