Coppa Italia Inline Alpine, appointment at Alpe Cimbra in the second weekend of September

Two days of competitions of the FISR Italian Cup Inline Alpine circuit will take place on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 September, in the heart of Alpe Cimbra, organized by the Polisportiva Alpe Cimbra for a real preview of this discipline in Trentino. About a hundred athletes are expected, mainly from northern Italy. "This competition is intended as a test to understand the possible synergies between winter skiing and this discipline - says Ruggero Carbonari, President of Polisportiva Alpe Cimbra - In particular, inline training can represent an excellent preparation for winter competitions and give continuity of training throughout the year with a lower increase in costs for families. The commitment of the Polisportiva has always been aimed at involving the children of Alpe Cimbra as much as possible and organizing national and international sporting events that bring prestige to the locality ". “We are ready to welcome this new discipline with great enthusiasm - adds Daniela Vecchiato, Director of the Apt Alpe Cimbra - to bring a new competition to Trentino. The combination of sport and tourism is part of our tourism development strategy and we are ready to support all the initiatives that contribute to this goal ”. The inline alpine slalom is divided into three specialties: special slalom, giant slalom and parallel slalom and it is a discipline that follows the types of alpine skiing, but on asphalted slopes and with inline skates, the race track can have a slope that can vary from 6% to 15% and a length from 150 meters up to 300 meters. Articulated poles on plates weighing about 15 kg are placed along the route. The task of determining the position of the poles rests with the setter who develops the race course. The distances between the posts and angles may vary according to the type of slope and the technical choices of the tracker. The next weekend's races will take place on Saturday in Folgaria and on Sunday in Lavarone.
