Bob Club Cortina
Great satisfaction comes from the St. Moritz trail for the world of the Italian Paralympic bob. On the famous Olympia Bobrun Fabrizio Caselli took an exceptional fifth place in race 1, while in race 2 the 'blue was placed in ninth position taking the' eighth place in the standings reserved for the European championships.

The fifty-year-old driver of the Bob Club Cortina since training has found a great feeling with the casing of the Canton of Grisons disputing two really capitalized races. Caselli in particular in the second round of the first competition printed a splendid fourth partial time, which allowed him to gain two placements in the final standings, reaching only 20 cents from the podium.
A decidedly unexpected result but that was partly reconfirmed in the second test. In race 2, the mugellano who boasts several Italian titles in the basket, has come in ninth position thus closing his first season in the World Cup of Paralympic bob with two flattering placings in the top-ten.
In Switzerland, in addition to Caselli, the Bob Club Cortina also brought in the race the ampezzo Flavio Menardi and the Pugliese Pier Alberto Buccoliero. This last one after the good performances highlighted at Oberhof was not able to repeat itself reaching the sixteenth and fifteenth position respectively in race 1 and in race 2. Menardi instead has touched the top-ten in the second trial closed in twelfth place, while in the first competition was placed in seventeenth position.
There is however great satisfaction in the accompanying staff of the Bob Club Cortina and the Onlus never play by Orlando Maruggi who together with Fisip also took care of this trip. The blue team followed by technicians Maruggi, Di Stefano and Ottaviani despite a limited budget has definitely hit the right path to success, in a discipline that is gradually growing in number of participants. In fact, in Sankt Mortiz, 21 athletes representing 12 different nations were presented at the start, numbers far superior to the Women's World Cup competitions that should push the International Olympic Committee to include this sport in the Olympic program already in 'edition of Beijing 2022.
With the success of the Canadian Lonnie Bissonnette, one of the few athletes in the circuit who took part in the entire race calendar, the Paralympic bob circuit has now moved back to the United States, where from 25 to 31 March a Lake Placid will host the world championships.
