Bob Club Cortina

The training sessions organized by the Bob Club Cortina in collaboration with the Italian Paralympic Winter Sports Federation (FISIP) and Orlando Maruggi's The Game Never Ends have allowed Fabrizio Caselli, Pier Alberto Buccoliero and Flavio Menardi to get on track for the first time in this season.
The three boys all registered for the Bob Club Cortina, a historical company in the world of Italian bobsleighing that since the establishment of this discipline has invested a great deal both in economic and voluntary terms, so that a true Italian Paralympic movement can develop. thirteen descents each starting initially from the start of the young and then gradually going up to the start where the World Cup races start.

The training session was held in anticipation of the first stage of the World Cup that the Italian team will face from 19 to 20 January 2019, the world circuit instead will start in mid-December in Park City.
Satisfied with the training sessions Flavio Menardi, the youngest of the Azzurri, told the press officer of the Bob Club Cortina Erik Di Stefano, "It was very nice! In addition to the Azzurri, other athletes representing Germany, Switzerland and Austria have also trained to demonstrate that the discipline in the countries where the bobsleigh is tradition is increasingly breaching. At the moment, however, both the parabob and the paraskeleton have not been included in the Paralympic program despite the strong pressure from the IOC Member and President of IBSF Ivo Ferriani, who still hopes for a re-thinking by the IOC Commission in view of the Beijing Games 2022.
