VIDEO - Dorothea Wierer: "During the last season I felt a lot of pressure"

Third of the video interviews made at the Summer Biathlon Festival by Dario Puppo with the members of the blue biathlon team, this time is the turn of Dorothea Wierer.

For Dorothea it's great to start and resume the atmosphere of the race, finding comrades and fans for a festive festival like the one of Forni Avoltri. Also having a real polygon was important: in the past there were badly done platforms and it was all a bit crooked while at Carnia Arena it's all more professional and in a center so the race can be considered true. Time is really a bit small for athletes because in addition to training there are also various meetings with sponsors so if an event so happens once a year according to Wierer the thing is feasible and if it's like in the carnical plant it's all nicer For athletes, fans and simple curious people who approach the biathlon. Then there is the theme of bike training: for Dorothea and for all athletes, especially the younger ones, it is important to train on a track like the Forni road, avoiding as much as possible the normal roads where the serious accident is always behind 'Corner and where cars and motorbikes go maybe at 100 per hour and at 10 inches from the bikes. It would be nice that there were more centers like Friulian in this regard but it takes a bit of patience and anyway the team's results can help with any investment in that regard. Wierer concludes by saying that last season he felt a lot of pressure for the many media appointments he had in the summer, now he is just trying to train in peace and work on the technique and care of the shot, just do not have too much stress and can do everything with calm.
