A dutiful thanks goes to the technicians, the presidents, the judges and the parents, the true ski sponsors. We are looking forward to four difficult but beautiful years, because together we form a great team ". Dunnhofer also recalled the fundamental contribution provided by Gerdol and the FVG Region in the return of the Alpine Skiing European Cup, scheduled for March 2019 in Sella Nevea: "But this is only the first step - said Mazzolini - because together with the president Fedriga, in addition to Dunnhofer, we are working to continue the candidacy to host some events of the 2026 Olympics, which we hope will be assigned to Italy, and there are other initiatives at stake. We are working for you and for the territory - Mazzolini concluded - and in the next regional budget we will do our best to insert funds for the skiable property ". "We have plenty of champions from the past, the present and the future," said Tiziana Gibelli. Winter sports are a great resource for our region, both in terms of competition and image, and we are happy that Sappada now completes our offer ". As always on the occasion the first three winners of each category were awarded in the disciplines practiced in the region (alpine, cross country, biathlon, jump, Nordic combined, snowboarding, ski mountaineering), but there were no special prizes, starting from those delivered two characters that in Sappada, and not only, need no introduction, namely Eliseo Sartor and Riccardo Breusa. Applause also for the Società Sportiva Fornese and for Silverio Doglia, who received the Gold Badge of the national FISI, and for the ovarese Luigino Buttazzoni, Italian champion FISDIR (Italian Federation of Sport, Intellectual and Relational Disability).
