The athletes from the male A and B teams have returned to work today to continue preparing for the winter.

The Azzurri will train until Thursday 12 October between Villach (Aut), Kranj (Slo) and Planica (Slo), but will have Tarvisio (Ud) base. For this meeting were summoned: Roberto Dellasega, Federico Cecon, Zeno Di Lenardo, Alessio Longo, Sebastian Colloredo and Daniele Varesco. Also will be head coach Lukasz Kruczek and technicians Ivan Lunardi, Daniele Giacomelli and Andrea Morassi. So there were no Davide Bresadola and Alex Insam.
There is now little more than a month at the World Cup debut in Wisla (Pol) where a team race and an individual test will take place. Thanks to the excellent results obtained during the summer, Italy will have four pettorals throughout the season, three of which are already virtually assigned while remaining to be understood who will be the fourth man. Currently the most serious candidate seems to be Roberto Dellasega but the level difference between Team A (Colloredo, Bresadola, Insam) and the rest of the movement remains remarkable. It is therefore likely that Italy will not always be in full ranks in the WC stages, thus enabling second-tier bouts to make bones in smaller circuits.
With regard to the youth category, on the weekend just past Jacopo Bortolas, 2003 Dolomitica class got a good second in the Landes Cup races on the K65 in Bischofshofen (Aut).
