Following the great success of the final of the Italian Championship Master of 2012 to Malga San Giorgio (VR), Alberto and Andrea Cipriani Bicchierai, athletes and enthusiasts frequent visitors to the ski resort of the Dolomites, have drawn inspiration perideare a trophy that svolgesse in one location over several days and providing for competitions in three disciplines Giant Slalom, Slalom and Super-G.
This formula has been very successful since the first edition held in 2013 in Malga San Giorgio. Later editions of 2015 and 2016 hosted by the area of ​​Polsa Brentonico (TN) have seen a continuous increase in attendance by placing Wintercup at the top of the national circuits dedicated to the world of Alpine skiing Master.
The 2017 edition takes place for the first time the Alpe Cermis (TN) one of the most prestigious ski resorts in Italy. The Organizing Committee, now coordinated by only Alberto Cipriani, in collaboration with the Ski Club managers of the individual races have developed unique edition thanks to the wide availability of the Funivie Alpe Cermis spa that has provided the beautiful slopes and all the logistics necessary to the circuit.
The main feature of Wintercup Trophy is therefore to be the 'only master circuit in Italy to keep in un''unica ski resort organizing an annual 12 races in giant slalom, slalom and super-G as follows:
8 Giant Slalom tests
2 tests Slalom
2 trials of Super G
The exclusive formula of the third weekend of the race (Friday + Saturday) favors staying in the resort for athletes from other regions.
Pot Wintercup also offers prestigious prizes in kind winners for the top finishers (skis, boots and helmets), 1 ski pass for four hours, and participation in a rich lottery destined to all members, giving the opportunity to all participants to be able to lead to major consolation prizes home.
