The Avalanche champion said he wanted to be competitive since the first World Cup stage at Ruka (Fin) scheduled for late November and compete for the sprint rankings. The approach to the Olympics will then see him busy between the end of December and the beginning of January at the Tour de ski. Any winter program will however be marked to get to the top of the form in Pyeongchang (Kor).
Meanwhile tomorrow will take part in the Sovere-Bossico while Sunday will be engaged in Bobbio at the Italian skiroll climbing championships. Next week, the blue team will start training on snow at the Val Senales glacier.
"The preparation is following the estimated roadmaps," he said, "including the cyclically-tested tests. This weekend we will have two competitive tests that will give us more information. "
