Federica Brignone was born on July 14, 1990 in Milan and resides in La Salle, Valle d'Aosta. She is' daughter of Maria Rosa "Ninna" Quario, great slalomist of the eighties, and she has always been, as Innerhofer, bearer of the Band of Heroes Rossignol. He made his debut in the World Cup in December 2007 and so far can boast 9 victories (5 in giant, 2 in super-G and 2 in combined) and 26 podiums total (to victories in fact adds 8 seconds and 9 third places), which in both classifications they are already the third ever Italian after Deborah Compagnoni and Isolde Kostner. In the overall standings it was fifth in 2017 and eighth in 2016, in the fourth giant in 2016 and in 2017 and fifth in 2018, in that of superG sixth in 2016 and 2018 and eighth in 2017, in that of combined second in 2017 and third in 2018. To further demonstrate its versatility, in the winter of 2017-2018 it was the first Italian to win World Cup races in three different specialties triumphing in the giant of Lenz, in the super-G in Bad Kleinkirchheim and in the combined Crans-Montana. It was world silver at Garmisch-Partenkirchen in 2011 and Olympic bronze at PyeongChang 2018, both times in giant. This year he has already started the great with the second and the first place in the giants of Soelden and Killington who place it at the top of the ranking of specialties. His dream, always, is to be the first Italian to win the overall World Cup, but the 'most realistic goal seems to be the conquest of the giant cup, succeeded as regards the blue only to Deborah Compagnoni and Denise Karbon and, why not, the goal to improve in Are that silver world of 2011.
