Hannes Amman

Biography: Hannes Amman, born in 2002, is a German giant slalom specialist and part of the new wave of the country’s technical team. Active internationally since 2018, he made his European Cup debut in 2021 and has steadily improved his results in giant slalom across FIS and continental circuits. In October 2025 he fulfilled a major goal by making his World Cup debut in the giant slalom at Soelden, racing for the first time against the world’s best on the classic season-opening hill. At the German National Championships he earned a bronze medal in giant slalom in 2025, confirming his status as an important prospect for the future of German giant slalom.
