Marco Fischbacher

Marco Fischbacher, born on 15 January 1997 in Unterwasser in the canton of St Gallen, is a Swiss alpine skier who mainly competes in giant slalom and the speed events. Active for many years on the FIS and Europa Cup circuits, he has scored points and produced steady results that earned him a place on the Swiss Ski B team. Fischbacher has also appeared in World Cup races, particularly in the speed disciplines. He is known for his clean technique and his strong focus on physical preparation, which he often showcases away from the race hill as well. Fischbacher remains a valuable part of the Swiss structure, especially in giant slalom and speed training groups.
