Biography: Joshua Sturm, born 6 May 2001 in St. Leonhard im Pitztal, is a young Austrian slalom and giant slalom skier with promising potential. He made his World Cup debut on 12 December 2021, after winning gold in slalom and silver in the team event at the 2019 EYOF. In 2024 he suffered a thigh muscle injury which slowed his progress, but he remains considered one of Austria’s rising technical athletes aiming to break through in the slalom and giant slalom standings.
