Both are recovered jump races because of the heat early in the season, so that will be played in a resort & agrave; that in the history of the World Cup hosted one another slalom: January 17, 1993 and was won Thomas Fogd & ouml; front Jure Ko & scaron; ir and Alberto Tomba.
It is these three athletes, together with the & rsquo; idol Michael Tritscher, the protagonists pi & ugrave; expected of this race: l & rsquo; blue won the first two slaloms, Swedish & egrave; was l & rsquo; only one able to worry it, finishing second to six cents to Sestriere, while the Slovenian & egrave; growing in giant slalom. In fact for & ograve; there & rsquo; & egrave; game: despite the pain in his rib that forced him to forfeit in the second run of the giant of the Val d & rsquo; Isere, Tomb dominates, digging a furrow important gi & agrave; at the end of the first round, won with 62 cents on Fogd & ouml; and 71 of Ko & scaron; ir.
The second & egrave; a pure formality & agrave ;, with Tomb which is not limited to managing the advantage, but the doubles with ridiculous ease & agrave ;, going to win the third win of the season, the fifth consecutive slalom and thirty-sixth of his career. And with the one hundred points forfeited, the Bomb goes on the run in the overall World Cup, celebrating in the best way his twenty-eighth birthday.
Behind Tomba will square Thomas Sykora, the first podium of the season and good at recovering from fourth place occupied in half & agrave; race; Third & egrave; Ko & scaron; ir, once again the protagonist but far from being able to give the winning move, so that the podium if he wins thanks to & rsquo; error Fogd & ouml ;, but it is off when you still could hardly keep the position. Another excellent performance of Michael Tritscher, fourth, and Michael Von Gr & uuml; NiGen, fifteenth after the first run and great to take advantage of the smooth track in the second to climb to fifth place. Yet another debacle instead for the & rsquo; another Italian, with only Fabio De Crignis that can be classified twentieth 5 & rdquo; 94 by pi & ugrave; illustrious compatriot.
In optical crystal ball as said Tomba stretches: with 350 points & egrave; increasingly & ugrave; first, followed by Von Gr & uuml; NiGen with 294 and Kjetil Andre & Aring; modt, tenth in Lech, with 239. He lost contact G & uuml; Günther Mader, who despite not being a slalom skier pure could not afford missteps even between the poles close to to compete with its rivals, but instead ends up when still hardly be entered in the top fifteen.
