The alpine skiing weekend offers two giant slaloms for the girls of the Circo Rosa, in Kranjska Gora which for the second consecutive year replaces the traditional weekend in Maribor. Two important days especially for the Italian colors where Marta Bassino, Federica Brignone and Sofia Goggia will be able to aim for success like this year. Saturday 16 January appointment at 11.00 with the first run, second at 14.00, while Sunday 17 first run at 9.15 and second at 12.15.
On the other hand, the men's calendar completely changed, with the double cancellation of the Wengen and Kitzbuehel technical races, the White Circus will be in Flachau where two special slalom will be staged. Appointment on Saturday 16 at 09.30 and 12.30, while on Sunday the first heat at 10.30 and the second at 13.45.
The Biathlon World Cup faces the second and final race weekend in Oberhof. Already today (Thursday 14 January) the women's sprints will be disputed with the awaited Dorothea Wierer engaged starting at 2.30 pm. On Friday 15 instead, the men's relays will be held, followed the next day by the women's relays, and on Sunday 17 January the grand final with the mass starts.
The jump makes a stop at Kaml Stoch's home in Zakopane, while bobbyists and skeletonists will face each other on the legendary Olympia Bob-Run track in Sankt Mortiz, with sledding "cousins" will be busy again in Oberhof.
