Second weekend of March full of sporting events. It will begin with the Nordic World Ski Championships being held in Obersdorf in Germany, and will then continue with Alpine skiing and biathlon engaged in the respective stages of the World Cup. Over the weekend, the jet men are back on the scene engaged on the snows of Saalbach-Hinterglemm in two free descents scheduled for Friday 5 and Saturday 6 March starting at 11.20 and 11.00 respectively, while on Sunday 7 they will compete in supergiant scheduled for 10.30.
The girls, on the other hand, will move to Jasna in Slovakia practically at Petra Vlhova's home, where they will play a giant on Saturday and a slalom on Sunday, both with the first heat at 09.30 and the second at 12.30.
Last weekend of world championships for the participants of the Nordic Ski World Championships currently taking place in Obersdorf. The rich program includes today the women's 4x5km relay for cross-country skiing followed by the men's test tomorrow, while on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 the grand finale with the mass start in classic technique. As for the Nordic Combined, double appointment, with the individual competition from the large springboard on Friday 5th, while the men's team event is scheduled for Saturday 6 March. Last two races also for the jump. On Saturday at 17.00 the title will be awarded in the large hill test, while on Sunday the team test will be held.
After a week of post-world break, the Biathlon World Cup is back. On the snows of Nove Mesto in the Czech Republic, the Azzurri will try to redeem a decidedly subdued world championship. It starts today with the women's relay, tomorrow instead the boys in the same format will be on stage, on Saturday the sprint tests are scheduled followed on Sunday by the pursuits.
A weekend of competitions also for snowboard cross, with two men's and two women's competitions in Georgia.
