Highlight weekend for the Italian athletes involved in the Alpine Ski World Championships in Cortina and for the blue biathletes expected to be protagonists at the Biathlon World Championships on the snows of Pokljuka in Slovenia. Let's start immediately with a bang, in a few hours at 10.00 Marta Bassino and Federica Brignone will take to the track in the first heat of the highly anticipated female giant of Cortina 2021. The two blue are among the favorites for medals and will aim high in this competition. Second heat scheduled at 1.30 pm ... Friday 19th will be the turn of the gigantists engaged on the unprecedented Labirinti track. Appointments with the two heats scheduled at 10.00 and 13.30. Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 February the last two races of the Cortina 2021 World Championships will be staged. On Saturday the slalom girls will be protagonists, the next day the slalomists will take to the track. Both races will have the first heat scheduled at 10 am while the second will start at 1.30 pm.
Last weekend of world championships also for biathlon, on stage on the Slovenian snow of Pokljuka. Today at 15.15 do not miss the Single Mixed, relay race in pairs, with Lukas Hofer and Dorothea Wierer at the start, a couple that could give great satisfaction to the Italian colors. Saturday 20 February a day entirely dedicated to relay races. At 11.45 am the girls will be on stage, while at 15.00 it will be the boys' turn. Sunday grand final with the Mass Start where the blue team will focus a lot on the duo Wierer-Vittozzi for women and on Lukas Hofer, Dominik Windisch and Thomas Bormolini in the men's test .
Another weekend of competitions for jumpers, engaged on this occasion on the Rasnov springboard in Romania. The Romanian plant will host: a female individual test, a male test and a mixed team competition.
After the Idre Fjäll World Cup, the Snowboard Cross World Cup resumes its journey from Austria. In Reiteralm there will be a male and a female test where there will be great interest for the Azzurri Sommariva and Moioli.
