Five months after knee surgery, Martina Peterlini is back on snow with HEAD: “Yes, I’m a rebel now!”

She was unable to complete the entire summer programme—or rather, had to miss the most important camp, where her World Cup technical-events teammates will be training in Ushuaia until 19 September.

Martina Peterlini, however, is targeting the start of the season, scheduled in just over two months with the slaloms in Levi, Gurgl and Killington in succession, now that she has finally returned to the snow. The Trentino-born athlete, from the 1997 generation, put her skis back on at Stelvio after five months, following the 2 April surgery on the patellar tendon in her right knee, which had continued to cause her many problems, especially during the second half of last winter.

On an open slope and getting her first impressions, she also took the opportunity to reveal what had already been settled for weeks: signing with and using HEAD skis after parting ways with Rossignol following many years together. “Back on snow and… now I’m a rebel,” “Tina” wrote on social media to announce it. “I’m so excited to start this new adventure with HEAD. New chapter, new energy, same hunger. Let’s go.”
