Another top day in Val di Fassa for Goggia and companions: on Wednesday the move to Austria

In fact, tomorrow will be the race again on the Planai, even if for Italy the situation is really complicated and even in the "night race", an absolute novelty for the women's sector, we will only see Marta Rossetti, Sophie Mathiou and Anita Gulli go in search of the first seasonal qualification to the 2nd heat (and a minimum chance of Olympic convocation). In the meantime, Sofia Goggia leads the work session on the track of the speed team in Val di Fassa: since yesterday at Passo San Pellegrino, even today on "La VolatA" the blue have found excellent conditions for the preparatory training for the next commitment, scheduled from Thursday with the first of the two downhill tests towards Saturday's race at Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, followed on Sunday by the fifth super-g of the season. On the track that last February hosted a World Cup event for the first time, other national teams have already been working for a few days with Breezy Johnson herself, Goggia's first pursuer in the ranking of the queen discipline, present. The Olympic champion will move to Salzburg on Wednesday, as will Elena Curtoni and Roberta Melesi, who from Kranjska Gora arrived at Passo San Pellegrino together with Goggia after the giant of Kranjska Gora, and the quartet formed by the sisters Nadia and Nicol Delago, from Francesca Marsaglia and Karoline Pichler, on the slopes in the Fassa snow since the middle of last week. Marta Bassino, on the other hand, will continue to train thinking above all to go up again from the level to the giant, after the podium on Podkoren, sacrificing the commitment in the Austrian descent.
