Alpine Skiingwomen's world cup

It's time for competitions again, again in Haute-Savoie, in the scenario of a Courchevel ready to welcome the second and third seasonal giant of the women's cup commanded by Sofia Goggia.
If the Bergamo-based, Tuesday and Wednesday on the Stade Emile-Allais, clearly has the objective of defending the leadership in the general from the attack of Mikaela Shiffrin, the spotlights will also be on Marta Bassino, here triumphant in the first giant of 2020, and Federica Brignone who wants the first season also in this discipline, after the super-g in Sankt Moritz.
In addition to the three peaks of the "Pink Avalanche" that dominated in Val d''Isère, there will be five other blue in the race and a debut among the wide doors in CdM: this is the 24-year-old Vivien Insam, already seen several times in slalom and now called up for the two giants of Courchevel, after the excellent eighth place in the first round of Andalo in the European Cup, to replace the injured Roberta Midali, who has to live with the usual knee problems.
We will obviously see Elena Curtoni, starting close to the top 15, then Roberta Melesi, Karoline Pichler and Ilaria Ghisalberti, revived after Soelden and with the goal of the first qualification.
Tomorrow we start at 10.00, from 13.00 on to the 2nd heat.
