The first sub-group will be closed by Sara Hector, also dry in 2022/23 and with a bit of lost confidence in the last few races (including slalom), dominant here in 2022 and starting sixth in the 1st heat, before Federica Brignone who will have the 7 and will try again to seize the 50th podium in CdM, as well as the first of the season.
Will Mowinckel (n° 9) and Grenier (12), excellent protagonists in Semmering, also be in the game? Possible, especially the Canadian who has already done wonderful things on Podkoren, while Austria clings to Liensberger and Troops, with Gasienica-Daniel (who will have the No. 15, not the best) loose cannon as potentially Alice Robinson, who will come out of the gate on the 25th.
Having said that there will be Lara Colturi, recovered after the blow suffered in the first slalom in Zagreb (the Albanian had decided to give up on race-2 even before she jumped) and at the start with number 56, there will be four other blues with Bassino and Brignone .
Asja Zenere will have a better bib than last week, starting with 32 (and in one of our live broadcasts she had confessed to us that she particularly aimed at these races on a slope she loves) before Elisa Platino, with 44 to hunt for the first points, Roberta Melesi (with number 46) and debutant Laura Steinmair, 62nd of the 64 athletes registered for a naturally special first from the perspective of the 22-year-old from South Tyrol.
