Bassino points to Lenzerheide and leads the blue team to Livigno: top training for the national team

Until Thursday, Rulfi's team at work on the Valtellina snows. Also present were Goggia, Curtoni, Marsaglia, Melesi, Pichler and the Delago sisters.

Perfect track conditions and the weather, with splendid sunny days, to give a good hand to a high quality training for the blue multipurpose team of the World Cup group. We need to prepare for the next two races in Lenzerheide, Saturday with the super-g and Sunday with a giant on the Swiss snow, and it is Livigno that has welcomed the national team led by Gianluca Rulfi for a training that will be completed on Thursday 3 March. Marta Bassino on the track since yesterday, who skipped the Crans-Montana descents and, after recovering from an Olympics full of commitments for the Cuneo-based, unfortunately left without any medal from Beijing 2022, is determined to aim for the weekend on the “Beltrametti”, where among other things he got on the podium in combined in 2018 and, just 12 months ago, he celebrated the conquest of the Giant's World Cup (albeit arithmetically already arrived in Jasna). Together with Bassino, Sofia Goggia is also at work, who will then decide whether to take part in the giant on Sunday, Elena Curtoni, Nadia and Nicol Delago, Francesca Marsaglia, Roberta Melesi and Karoline Pichler. As for Federica Brignone, as declared by the same Aosta Valley champion after Crans-Montana, I return home for a few days of recovery and we will see her again directly in Lenzerheide to play, above all, the super-g crystal ball with the ranking of specialties that he sees it widely in command, ahead of Curtoni and Goggia.
