The calls for the two super-gs on Saturday and next Sunday are official: the eight protagonists of the Lake Louise triptych have been confirmed, as well as the one from Cuneo. The words of Faith after the 5th place in the last Canadian race.

Nine blue for the Sankt Moritz weekend, for a new assault on the podium in the super-gs scheduled in Engadine on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 December, in both cases with start scheduled at 10.30.
Also in Switzerland we will see the same protagonists of last weekend's races in Lake Louise, or Sofia Goggia, Federica Brignone, Nadia Delago, Nicol Delago, Elena Curtoni, Francesca Marsaglia, Roberta Melesi and Karoline Pichler, but with the addition ( expected) by Marta Bassino, who will then return to the super-g race after having decided to skip the Canadian trip and the "empty" trip to Killington.
The precedents are auspicious in Italy, with four triumphs by Isolde Kostner, downhill in 1999, Karen Puzter who won in 1999 and 2001 in super-g, while the last success dates back to 2019 (in 2020 he did not compete due to adverse weather conditions), when the Goggia-Brignone brace arrived, divided by a single cent in the same super-g that we will see on Saturday, with the Bergamo rider in “red”, and then again on Sunday.
The Valle d'Aosta winner of the 2020 cup will arrive in the Engadine with great confidence, if we think that in Lake Louise, Brignone achieved the three best results of her career on that track between downhill (13th and 10th) and super-g (5th) . "I am very happy for this weekend - explains Fede - I made my best placings in Lake Louise, I skied more and more as I wanted downhill, in a supergiant on the wall I passed with the line I had studied in reconnaissance, I lost a lot in bottom with some burrs.
There you could earn something at Gut-Behrami, but I arrived late, wasting precious time. I am skiing well, I feel fit and I am doing the right things; the attitude in the race is the right one, I can start off pretty determined.
Congratulations to Sofia for this weekend's results, but also to the other companions. We were finally able to express ourselves ”.
