There is the ok for the Flachau slalom on January 12th. Who has won there on the last two occasions? Petra Vlhova

After the fast races in St. Anton, meet on the track dedicated to Hermann Maier for the last race between the narrow poles before the World Championships in Cortina. We will compete, as always, under the spotlight.

The snow check carried out during the day in Flachau also indicated a green light for the slalom scheduled for the Salzburg area on Tuesday 12 January. After descent and super-g in St. Anton (9-10 January), we will then go to the place that gave birth to Hermann Maier, to whom the track on which the fifth seasonal specialty event will be staged , the last one before Cortina 2021 and for almost two months in the World Cup calendar, since then the last four will all be played within two weeks in March, from Jasna to Lenzerheide via Are's double. And who has won the last two times in Flachau? Petra Vlhova, or the dominator of six of the last seven cup slaloms (starting from the one-two between Zagreb and the Austrian race at the start of 2020), who last year ruled Swenn-Larsson and Shiffrin, while in 2019 Mikaela was second with Liensberger third. The last victory of the American dates back to 2018, when Shiffrin got the better of Bernadette Schild and Frida Hansdotter, with the Swede who, in turn, on the "Hermann Maier Weltcup Strecke" triumphed twice in 2017 and two years before. The times of the heats are the traditional ones for Flachau: first at 18.00, the second at 20.45.
