The third race of the World Championships in St. Moritz will be the women's Alpine Combined.

COMBINED ALPINE WOMEN IN SEASON IN PROGRESS In the current season he played only one female Alpine Combined, that of Val d'Isere last December 16th won by Ilka Štuhec front of Michelle Gisin and Sofia Goggia. In all, 10 editions of the female Combined St.Moritz, 6 World Cup, 3 valid for the World Cup of 1934, respectively, in 1974 and 2003, and the one that gave the Olympic title in 1948. They are two girls that guide ranking of plurivincitrici at 2: the first is Janica Kostelic, who won the editions of February 10, 2003 (World gold) and 22 January 2006; the second is Anja Pärson, winning 19 December 2008 and 29 January 2010. FEMALE COMBINED ALPINE WORLD CUP The Combined entered the global agenda since the second edition of Cortina d'Ampezzo, 1932. Since then, uniting all races regardless of the regulatory changes of which has been the subject over the years, there were 40 editions, with Christl Cranz driving individual medal from the 5 gold medals between 1934 and 1939. behind him, with 3 gold and 1 silver is the French Marielle Goitschel, Erika Hess has 3 golds, while Hanni Wenzel won 4 medals overall, but less precious metals (1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze). Little glory for Italy in this discipline at the World Cup. Only two medals, both bronze, won respectively by Giuliana Chenal Minuzzo in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1956 (at the time the Combined, although included in the Olympic program, was only valid for the world) and Karen Putzer in Sankt Anton 2001. The reigning world champion is Tina Maze, who in Beaver Creek in 2015 was imposed ahead of Nicole Hosp and Michaela Kirchgasser. The women's Alpine Combined, the third race of the World Championships in St. Moritz, will be held Friday, Feb. 10; The heats of Descent will depart at 10:00 am, the Slalom at 13:00.
