Almost a month after the weekend of Val d'Isere, the World Cup Alpine Ski female returns to play a quick race. The Altenmarkt-Zauchensee weekend will see the start with a dive.

Altenmarkt-Zauchensee is a ski resort of Salzburg, which is named after the town of Altenmarkt im Pongau and the lake Zauchensee. Entry in the calendar of the World Cup in 1980, has never found a resting place and constant, although from 2014 guests regular women's events in mid-January.
The two days of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee will open with a Downhill. 11 are evidence of the disputatesi World Cup in this specialty in the town of Salzburg, and are two women who have two hits apiece. The best result of un'azzurra in this race is the seventh place by Isolde Kostner January 18, 1998 and Daniela Ceccarelli 6 March 2002. For the rest two other top ten thanks to Bibiana Perez, in the eighth day of the seventh place Kostner, and Francesca Marsaglia, tenth in the trial of twelve months ago.
The Descent of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee will be held Saturday, January 14. The first athlete will leave the gate at 10:45 hours.
