This morning the last taste on the race track, in Soelden the countdown began for the female giant who will open the World Cup on Saturday. Bib drawing tonight.

Dream conditions, between the strikethrough on the track and a weather that helped Soelden for a grand opening.
Clear skies over the Rettenbach, on the eve of the two days (the forecasts are also good for the entire weekend) that will open the 2021/22 World Cup. Tomorrow the female giant, Sunday the male one, with the girls who this morning, starting from 10.00, were able to taste again, after last week's training, the race slope with the classic skiing on the track, preceded by the classic warm-up on the 'ice box alongside.
Sofia Goggia's comment? "We are ready", with a great smile and a lot of confidence for a first race that sees the blue, including the Bergamo, expected protagonists. This afternoon the last press conferences (including that of Italy), then the drawing of the bibs and Saturday morning off to the battle, with the first heat scheduled at 10.00 (tracing by Mike Day, technician of Mikaela Shiffrin) and the second at 13.15, on the design proposed by the France house.
