The Swiss stage of 11-12 December has been confirmed by the FIS, with the sweet memory of that double Goggia-Brignone (divided by a penny ...) in the last speed race held two years ago.

After the Lake Louise triptych, hoping that the weather will be mild for the two descents on Friday and Saturday and next Sunday's super-g, the Women's World Cup will return to Europe for two more speed races in Sankt Moritz.
This morning there was the traditional snow control of the FIS delegates in the Engadine and the green light arrived for the super-g scheduled for Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 December (with start in both cases at 10.30). For two years we have not competed in the Swiss resort, given that in 2020 everything was blown due to snowfall and strong winds at high altitude, and so we return to that December 14-15, 2019 when we competed in super-g and in parallel. In the first case, there was a splendid blue double for a royal podium with Sofia Goggia beating Federica Brignone by only one cent, with Mikaela Shiffrin third.
The following day, however, Petra Vlhova won in the PSL by burning Anna Swenn-Larsson in the final of a test that will no longer be proposed in Sankt Moritz.
The issue linked to Covid now hangs on the stage, with the obligation of quarantine from Canada for the return to Switzerland, hoping that the FIS will be able to solve the case that emerged from yesterday evening.
