Monday the start of the world championship with the women's alpine combined, but rain and snow complicate the plans. Today at 17.00 the meeting of the captains.

Cortina here we are, everything is really ready for the World Cup opened tonight by the inaugural ceremony, set at 18.00.
The weather, however, is not really helping FIS and organizing committee; rain mixed with snow already today, as expected, but especially tomorrow, the day of the first world championship race with the women's alpine combined. Skiing on the track on Olympia delle Tofane has already been canceled, but the most important news could be that of the reversal of the heat between super-g, scheduled at 11.00, and slalom (14.30).
The test could be held first between the narrow poles, since the snow arriving next night would complicate the preparation plans for the speed track; there are few alternatives, because the world program is very rich and relocating the race to another date (the only rest day on February 15th) is a big problem.
The captains' meeting scheduled for this afternoon, from 5.00 pm, is decisive.
