Lots of messages received from Elena and Nadia Fanchini, who today announced their retirement after having shared cup wins and world medals.

Sharing an entire career together in the World Cup is a rare thing for two sisters, divided at birth for just 14 months, but Elena and Nadia Fanchini can say they did it at the highest levels, despite the frequent stops for injuries that hit the two champions from Montecampione.
A path shared in part also with Sabrina, the youngest of the sisters and the first to leave the white circus in 2016; today it was Elena and Nadia's turn, obviously in tandem after having achieved four overall CdM wins (two each, with 13 podiums for Nadia and 4 for Elena) and three world medals ("wins" 2 to 1 Nadia).
Nadia, who became Alessandro's mother last December, just a couple of weeks after Sabrina who had given birth to her firstborn Nicolò, thus definitively chose not to re-enter the circuit, greeting everyone together with Elena who tried until the last minute. return after yet another injury suffered in November 2018 in Copper Mountain, when he already wavered making us think of the withdrawal.
