From the disaster in Zagreb to the "Podkoren" of Kranjska Gora, which on Saturday and Sunday will host two technical competitions of an increasingly lively women's cup and which will find an ideal context, albeit not initially foreseen in the calendar (the Slovenian town replaces the "twin" Maribor, for the third consecutive year), to give a great show.
If the blue group trained in Tarvisio, from Tuesday until today (with Goggia, Bassino, Curtoni and Melesi on the track), almost always in the rain with temperatures that have dropped only in the last hours, and then moved very few km on Friday (remembering that the national team will not have Federica Brignone in its ranks, whom we hope to see again at Altenmarkt-Zauchensee), in Kranjska Gora the scenario has completely changed in the past few hours.
Almost half a meter of snow that yes, will force an organization that has been tested for decades to do additional work, so much so that it was decided to cancel the classic skiing on the track on Friday morning, but only because the safety nets must be repositioned and cleaned at the better the slope of Podkoren, which should present its best form, even if less extreme than the "green ice" of 2021, when Marta Bassino dominated the two proposed giants.
The weather will be favorable until Saturday, it could be a little worse on Sunday, when in any case there should be no problems for the regular dispute of the sixth seasonal slalom.
