The Killington mission has begun and the blue group, divided between Levi and Copper Mountain until last weekend, met in Vermont where on Saturday and Sunday giant and slalom will be staged on the “Superstar” track.
The slalomists arrived from Finland, with a flight from Helsinki to Boston on Monday, to then stay in the capital of Massachusetts and also enjoy a few hours of leisure with a visit to Harvard University as well. From yesterday all in Killington, or rather Peterlini, Rossetti, Della Mea, Gulli and Midali, where Marta Bassino has already put on her skis on Wednesday, in view of the Saturday race which will be crucial for her (on that track that in 2019 he gave her her first triumph in CdM), before deciding whether or not to participate in the slalom on Sunday.
In giant we will also see Midali, in addition to the quintet of multipurpose players who have returned from over two weeks of work at Copper Mountain; we are talking about Federica Brignone, Sofia Goggia, Roberta Melesi, Elena Curtoni and Karoline Pichler, arriving in Killington from the Denver airport, while the other three athletes left the Colorado training location and instead will think directly of the triptych of competitions of speed at Lake Louise next week, or Francesca Marsaglia and her sisters Delago, Nicol and Nadia.
