Ester Ledecka and the long goodbye with Atomic: "Yes, I change after 11 years". Now the adventure with Kaestle

Already in May, "skinews.ch" had given for certain the change of materials of the Czech champion, which has now announced the divorce from the Altenmarkt brand. His long (and beautiful) greeting.

A long goodbye, quite particular for the timing given that, beyond mid-August, hardly a top-level athlete like Ester Ledecka announces an important news such as the turning point in terms of materials. So it was, with the tri Olympic champion (twice in snowboarding, once in alpine skiing) who formalized the separation with Atomic, who has accompanied her all the way in the white circus since what the Prague class' '95 has attempted the adventure of dual discipline, signing feats from history books. Apart from the resounding gold in super-g at the PyeongChang 2018 Games, the three victories in the World Cup, the last of which last February in descent in Crans-Montana. In Beijing again Olympic medals nearly missed in alpine skiing (signing an encore in the parallel giant of snowboarding), but for the objective crystal ball of descent, Ledecka has decided to change and, as anticipated more than 3 months ago by the portal "skinews .ch ”and reported by NEVEITALIA, the choice is that of Kaestle, the historic brand that is relaunching itself in great skiing and has already signed Ilka Stuhec as well. To challenge Sofia Goggia in the first place, she who instead will continue her adventure with the Altenmarkt house that Ledecka greeted with a social message that deserves to be read in its entirety. "After 11 years of cooperation with Atomic, I closed a chapter of my life and it was not easy at all - the words of the Czech champion - I will never forget the first time I was invited to the factory in Altenmarkt and, literally with my mouth open , I looked at the photos of the skiers hanging on the walls. Even then I dreamed that among all these legends, one day my photo with Atomic skis would be framed above my head. Christian Hoeflehner noticed me when I was 16 and supported me even though he knew half of my heart was beating for snowboarding. I've always been determined to do my best not to let Atomic down and I've worked on myself. Thanks Christian, but also Andy, Joe, Hans and Philip for taking care of me and my material. Thanks to all the great people I have been lucky enough to work with at Atomic. I appreciated your professionalism and friendship, which for me has always been a driving force and a reason to keep improving and to prove to the whole world that the bet of a crazy snowboarder was the right choice. I enjoyed surprising the world of sport with all of you, only in this way I became a skier despite everything and everyone. Whenever I was next to Marcel Hirscher, Mikaela Shiffrin, Sofia Goggia and other great skiers at Atomic's “Media Day”, I was shocked by their presence and at the same time proud of what the team and I have achieved together. It was an honor to be an athlete from a brand who works with the best of the best. Redster will always remain in my DNA ”.
