Eva-Maria Brem confesses: "It has been difficult to go up again, the change of materials I am sure will help me"

She was the winner of the giant World Cup at the end of the 2015/16 season, then many injuries and a road that seemed lost ...

At 30, Eva-Maria Brem finally seems to have found herself, with the 6th and 7th place obtained in the last two giants of last season, respectively at Spindleruv Mlyn and the Soldeu finals, which brought the Tyrolean specialist back to the its levels. Just in recent days, Brem has resumed its preparation in the snow, ready to fly in August in Ushuaia, for the three basic weeks of preparation. Even more so if we consider that the Austrian gigantist has changed materials at the end of the last year, returning "home" with Atomic. "I spent two very intense weeks to test skis and materials - explained Eva-Maria - I am convinced that I made the right choice, now I can't wait to intensify my training in South America". A short vacation in Zanzibar was the only post-season concession for the three-time winner of CdM competitions: "Sleeping, eating and reading a little 'made me the perfect days and allowed to start the preparation later, with full motivation and joy in training. It's been nine weeks at full throttle: it's always exhausting and difficult, but it represents the foundation of the house you want to build. In this period of time, however, I greatly appreciate the possibility of living at home, after a winter that is always around, and enjoying the nature of the mountains. Before facing them in the competition period ”.
