A perfect first run, in full control, for a Federica Brignone who leads the home giant in the middle of the race, the one on the snow of Sestriere.
On the “Kandahar G.A. Agnelli â€, the Aosta Valley specialty leader managed the track designed by Livio Magoni as a champion; regular from top to bottom, with the central wall that saw her make a difference above all, starting with Petra Vlhova who then gained something in the final, closing at 17 cents behind.
The challenge is wide open, because Viktoria Rebensburg follows at 36 cents (the German had the best time until the final plateau, where she lost over 4 tenths) and Mikaela Shiffrin, fourth at 42, still has margin after having committed a couple of inaccuracies and having risked big in the central part of the wall. Followed by Wendy Holdener, at 56 cents, and Alice Robinson at almost 6 tenths.
Instead, Marta Bassino is far away, who really did a lot by closing at 1 â€40, while Sofia Goggia
Waiting for the other blue, the appointment is already set for a second thrill round at 14.05.
