The 20-year-old of Castelrotto during a SuperG attack on Ushuaia's Argentine snow, as reported by fisi.org, slammed heavily against the door pole, losing skis and undergoing an unnatural twist of the leg, causing the fracture deformed of the left leg's tibia. The limb was immediately blocked and Verena was transported to the local hospital, where the relevant investigations are underway, at which point the FISI Medical Commission will assess in agreement with Gasslitter how to proceed.
Last season Verena had the SuperG World Cup stand that had won the European Cup specialty in the previous winter but was forced to jump almost completely because in last year's Lake Louise World Cup SuperG December 4th had broken the front crusader of the left knee. We are waiting for the FISI to tell us the recovery times of this other unlucky athlete.
