There is no peace in the female Wunderteam: another Austrian, the 22-year-old from Vorarlberg Elisabeth Kappaurer, must stop by accident.

The combined junior champion in 2014 during an athletic workout suffered a stress-fractured foot by taking a step back on the metatarsal that had fractured in January 2016. Another injury suffered in December 2015 by the cartilage of the knee.
There is, however, optimism that Elisabeth can avoid the operation and treat the fracture with less invasive methods. So far Kappaurer's best result in 14 World Cup races is the 11th place in the CRans-Montana Combined on 24 February 2017, which was also the first of its four-point points.

Come ha comunicato questa sera la FISI, la fuoriclasse bergamasca ha concluso anticipatamente il camp sudamericano a causa di un malore durante la sua permanenza a Ushuaia e d'accordo con il dottor Panzeri ha deciso di tornare a casa.
