The left hand gives much less problems now to the Bergamo native, who has already put together two high-level training days together with the sisters Delago and Karoline Pichler, on the Le Coste slope at Passo San Pellegrino, where the 2018 Olympic champion will remain until Monday or next Tuesday.
With the blues, also the German team led by Kira Weidle, the Americans with Johnson and Wright, as well as the Canadian Gagnon.
In the meantime, yesterday, after an initial indiscretion from "Il Messaggero" relaunched by all the national media, there was much talk of Sofia's now certain presence as co-host for one of the evenings of the next Sanremo Festival, at the alongside Amadeus and Gianni Morandi.
The dates of the Courchevel Méribel world championships, however, clearly clash with that of the most awaited popular national event of the year, scheduled from Tuesday 7 to Saturday 11 February. The world championship in France will start on Monday 6 with the women's combined, then the next day the first downhill race, followed on Wednesday 8 by the super-g; on the 9th and 10th another double test and on Saturday 11th the queen race, in which Goggia will have the greatest opportunity to conquer his first world title.
Possibility of flying to Sanremo for the final evening? Theoretically yes, but Chiara Ferragni has already been chosen as co-host for the closing, who will also be alongside Amadeus and Morandi for the opening on Tuesday 7.
More likely that Sofia will participate via video link or by giving us some other surprises.
