The knee had had its sprain trauma and I still suffer it now, the fact that I managed to win the silver medal in the downhill with just a few days of skiing is because I threw myself down and I had the courage to do it, but it was very hard".
Milan-Cortina 2026? Yes, it is already in Goggia's thoughts: “For Italy, the Beijing 2022 edition was a very rich edition. Compared to the previous ones, there was one less gold, but many more medals, all in all it was a very positive trip also in view of Milan-Cortina 2026. I already feel charged, just thinking about it. I feel like setting these four years at my best to be able to be ready for that event, even if it is still a long way off ”.
The question about the controversy triggered by Ninna Quario, regarding her physical condition and the relationship with Federica Brignone, is inevitable. “I, the doctors, even the coaches themselves knew very well what the situation was. I do not need to foment this controversy which has been very unpleasant and I also think offensive not so much towards me, but towards qualified people, such as the doctors of the federation, who act for the good of the athletes and certainly do not go to support the false.
