Vicenza has put on skis 226 days from crash to crusader in the European Cup giant in Andalo. From here starts his run-up to the World Cup.

It is the one that lived Asja Zenere, one of the most awaited talents of blue skiing that today, more than 7 months after the terrible injury to the crusader of his right knee, has finally put his skis back on the snow of the Stelvio. To be precise, 226 days after the crash in the second round of the Andalo giant (it was December 15, 2019), when he was about to take his first success in the European Cup and saw his debut in the World Cup, a couple of days more late in Courchevel.
"What an emotion! It took a long time, many tears, many smiles, many days, but now I can believe it again, "said Asja thanking all the technicians and physiotherapists who followed her in this new and long recovery. For the Vicenza player who now resides in Barzio, in Valsassina, the restart had started in early July in Formia, while at the Stelvio he will calmly initially, albeit on the track with the companions of the European Cup group who started the second training block after that of June.
It will still take some time, but after a long ordeal, the Italsci now really hopes to have found the real Asja again.
