A real joke, practically leaving for the world championships in Cortina, after being officially included yesterday in the squad list of Norway.
Maria Tviberg, expected protagonist between combined, giant and slalom, says goodbye to the world championship after having remedied a left ankle injury in the past: "Nothing so serious, but it will take about six weeks and the rest of my season is over - has let the direct interested person know through social media - Right now I'm just devastated and wants inside, but surrounded by my family I will accept this and set my sights on the Olympic season. I'll be back and I'll be ready ”.
Tviberg was not experiencing an exciting year, after having done very well in the previous one, but in Semmering he had scored his first points in slalom, immediately finishing eighth, and then repeating himself with a 15th place in Flachau, while in giant he suffered taking home a top 15 only in the second round of Courchevel.
