From next season and with an agreement on a three-year basis, the town of Québec, at the "home" of Valérie Grenier, will host the stage of the Women's World Cup on Canadian snow. Lake Louise? He still hopes in the men's speed races, but the competition is wide.

Just a couple of months ago, news emerged that Lake Louise would be excluded from the Women's World Cup calendar in the future, hosting her final races with the classic speed triptych in early December.
In the last Italian night, here is the joint announcement, by Alpine Canada and the Mont Tremblant district, on the agreement reached to host the maximum pink circuit for the next three seasons: from 2023/24 it will therefore go to the location in Québec, with two female giants scheduled for 2-3 December, in the same slot used up to now for Lake Louise, thus inserting a series of technical races throughout the first part of the season, with the three consecutive weekends from the double Levi's slalom, at the two technical races in Killington and, in fact, the two challenges between the wide doors in Mont Tremblant.
The test event next spring, with the Nor-Am Cup men's races, with several works to be done in the Canadian station to formalize the entry into the World Cup, but with the investments that will be really important and have convinced the FIS, more and more convinced (with the Eliasch presidency) of expanding its base outside Europe, exploiting in particular North America if we think that already this year there will be a double trip overseas for men. Speaking of the men's sector, Lake Louise is still in contention to host the speed also from the 2023/24 season, but there are other locations in contention (see Panorama) and a decision will only be made in the coming months.

I'm looking forward to my next site visit to assess the progress and preparations, but I am confident that the organizers will have all the credentials to organize successful World Cup races next season ”.
In fact, we will compete on friendly snows for Valérie Grenier, who grew up skiing in Mont Tremblant. “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to run CdM competitions at my club, in front of family, friends and all the fans of that land. It is truly a dream come true ”.
