The combined Olympic champion has Pfeiffer's glandular fever: "There are days when I don't even get out of bed."

Last season was the best of Michelle Gisin's career, even more so than the 2017/18 one in which she won the most important title, gold in combined at the PyeongChang Olympics, if we think of the great continuity she had in the World Cup , with the 3rd place finish, the first victory and also the bronze (always in combined) at the World Championships in Cortina.
To try the encore of that Korean day, and go hunting for other medals in Beijing 2022, the Swiss champion will really have to outdo herself since today Swiss-Ski has revealed, through an official statement, that Michelle has contracted a form of mononucleosis that forced her to stop training for three weeks now.
This is Pfeiffer's glandular fever, a problem for which it is really difficult to indicate certain recovery times. "I immediately noticed that I was tired after work sessions, something was wrong - explained Gisin - There are days when I don't even get out of bed". There will be another check on Thursday, hoping that the situation will improve quickly.
