The emergency within the Italian slalom national team continues, but at least coach Devid Salvadori has recovered an athlete for the seventh round of the season, scheduled for Tuesday evening in Schladming; for the first historic night on the Planai, there will be the return of Vera Tschurtschenthaler, who had been positive a few hours before the race in Zagreb.
The South Tyrolean will therefore play her third round in the World Cup and the second of the season, with the top 30 which is also the goal of Marta Rossetti, Sophie Mathiou and Anita Gulli, the only three Italians at the start yesterday in Slovenia.
On the other hand, there will be no Lara Della Mea, as in Kranjska Gora, and for the Tarvisian as well as for the teammates, unless there is a great result tomorrow on the Planai (even if the contingent seats would be there, unlike the men's sector) , a call-up for the Beijing Olympic Games becomes unlikely at this point.
