On 13-14 January 2022, Tarvisio will host the continental appointment on a slope that saw the greatest champions of the white circus as protagonists (the last time 10 years ago).

After Santa Caterina, Obereggen and the slalom on the Aloch di Pozza di Fassa, highly confirmed in the 2021/22 European Cup calendar, here is a very welcome return. It is that of Tarvisio and of the “Di Prampero”, the track that on 13 and 14 January 2022 (with the two tests scheduled for 11 and 12) will host the continental circuit with two men's descents.
An important story, that of a slope that also experienced the World Cup, the last time with the girls in that classic trio of races which, in March 2011, saw Lindsey Vonn get two second places in super combined (behind Tina Maze) and downhill (overtaken by Anja Paerson), and then beat everyone in super-g as she did also in 2009.
The organization is entrusted to US Camporosso, which in recent years had proposed the European Cup races in Sella Nevea. The go-ahead for "Di Prampero" came at the end of August after an inspection, attended by the president of Camporosso Damiano Matiz and the secretary and head of the Race Office, Valentina Fachin, the head of the men's European Cup Wim Rossel, the head of Women's World Cup Peter Gerdol (Tarvisiano doc) and, for PromoturismoFVG, Alessandro Spaliviero and Luca Berti.
