The FIS gives the ok to Kronplatz and Garmisch: the last women's competitions before the Olympics have already been confirmed

Snow control today without problems for the "Erta", with the splendid giant next January 25, and the fast races in Bavaria at the end of the month.

Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, Cortina and then the grand finale before getting on the plane towards Beijing (and returning to talk about the World Cup at the end of February in Crans-Montana), between Kronplatz and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Today the last pre-Olympic competitions of the women's cup have been officially confirmed, starting with the now iconic giant on the South Tyrolean snow: the appointment on the "Erta" is set for Tuesday 25 January (10.30 the 1st heat, at 13.30 the 2 ^), for what will be the sixth seasonal specialty competition for a new super challenge between the great interpreters between wide doors, recalling that in 2021 Tessa Worley triumphed in front of Lara Gut-Behrami (and with Michelle Gisin who threw a victory now one step away in the last gates) and Marta Bassino, third again on one of her favorite tracks which, at the same time, also fits perfectly also to Federica Brignone, triumphing at Kronplatz in 2017. Everything ok also with regards to Garmisch-Partenkirchen (where in 2021 only two super-gs were contested, with a double from a dominant Lara Gut-Behrami), for the last weekend of speed at the end of January. Practice starts on Thursday 27 and Friday 28, then the sixth seasonal descent on Saturday 29 (11.30) and the same for the super-g on Sunday 30.
